The Beverage Cart Attendant provides outstanding customer service to our patrons, by serving snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages in a welcoming social environment. This is a fun, fast-paced position, the ideal candidate works well independently, is self-motivated, and enjoys being of service to people.

Someone who is familiar with golf and all of its components is ideal, but not required.

Position Details:

Drives a beverage cart in a safe and cautious manner on the golf course.
Follows precise route around the golf course without getting lost or thrown off of route.
Sells, stocks, cleans and prepares cart daily with soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, snacks, and ice.
Ensures all beverages are cold and the beverage cart is ready for service.
Collects and balance payments of each item sold on a daily basis.
Responsible for inventory of all items sold on the beverage cart.
Responsible for inventory, stocking and cleaning the storage area on the cart.
$10.35 per hour + Tips.
Part-time, seasonal position (April-October).
Required shift availability between 8:00 am -7:30 pm depending on the season.
Shifts available 7 days a week, variable schedule per weather forecast and business volume.
MUST be at least 18 years of age to sell alcoholic beverages.
MUST pass background check and be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation: $10.35 per hour

Settles Hill Banquets and Events was originally founded in 1991 by Jock Farnsworth, who had purchased 465 magnificent acres and built The Tree Farm Restaurant in Altamont, NY. After Mr. Farnsworth’s passing and subsequent closing in 2005, Carver Laraway purchased the property and renovated the restaurant into a banquet facility. In 2008, the DePasquale family, former owner of The Backgrounds Restaurant in Schenectady, NY, took over the facility and created Settles Hill Banquets & Events.
